Evergreen Township Minutes October 9, 2017

The Evergreen Township Board met September 9th for their regular meeting at the Town Hall. Present were: Betty Janke, Rana & Todd Holmer, Steve Wilkowski Jr.& Scott Ulschmid

Steve called the meeting to order. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved as read.

Betty read her treasurer’s report of money paid out, money received, money on hand in savings and checking. Balance on hand is $46,277.56. Todd made a motion to approve the treasurer’s report. Second by Scott. All present in favor.

Steve made a motion to pay bills. Second by Todd. All present in favor. Bills presented for payment are as follows: Dan Oelfke $2700.00 for 30 hours of road blading, Lake Region Electric $32.89 for electric at town hall, LM Road Services $602.00 for Fall Ditch Clipping, Grant Graham Excavating $234.71 to replace signpost on 460th Ave, Eli Gingrich $143 for 52 gophers, Alex Ulschmid $137.50 for 50 gophers and Maggie Ulschmid $57.75 for 21 gophers. Steve motion to transfer $3,900 second by Todd. All present in favor.

Todd received a call from a company in Perham that will be installing fiber optics in right of ways. They were calling to verify our road width. Checked online and with Rana and looks like it is 33 ft from center. Steve agreed. Todd will call them back with the number. Todd has put the weight limit sign on 460th ave and reported that Dan has started brush cutting in the ditches.

Supervisors discussed closing minimum maintenance portion 120th st again. Rana suggested sending letters out earlier this year due to new property owners at the end of the road and hearing the possibility of one being year round now. Supervisors agreed and Todd will get all new owner information from Bachmann Carow Realty and Rana will send the letters out.

Becker County Association meeting at the Courthouse on October 19th @7pm. At this time everyone planning to go and Betty will drive. If Betty is unable to go then Rana will drive.

Having no further business, Steve made a motion to adjourn. All present in favor.
