Evergreen Township Minutes May 11, 2026

The Evergreen Township Board met May 11^th for their regular meeting at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Present were:Betty Janke, Rana & Todd Holmer, Scott Ulschmid, Brett Jepson was absent.

Todd called the meeting to order. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved as read.

Betty read her treasurer’s report of money paid out, money received, money on hand in savings and checking. Balance on hand is $239,857.08. Todd made a motion to approve the treasurer’s report. Second by Scott. All present in favor.

Todd made a motion to pay bills. Second by Scott. All present in favor. Bills presented for payment are as follows: Dan Oelfke $4,125 for 16.5 hours of road blading & 10 hours of snow plowing, Frazee Forum $55.44 for Annual Meeting Notices, Becker County Assn of Townships $181.25 for annual dues, Graham Excavating LLC $400.00 to clear bog in Collette Creek culvert, Rana Holmer $301.15 for bee lawn reimburse to plant at townhall site, & Joe Foltz Construction Inc $1904.00 for cleanup of townhall foundation. Todd motion to transfer $7,000 to checking second by Scott, all present in favor.

Todd called Zach from Menahga Concrete to haul gravel on Balsam. They will start when restrictions lift. Emailed the road map to Alajoki on 5/11 for remaining gravel this year.

Todd motion to pay Joe Foltz construction the remaining amount for townhall cleanup. Everything else has been paid by Pioneer Grounds. Second by Scott.

Julie & Rana are set up to do the election judge training in the event that we have a Special Election.

Having no further business, Todd made a motion to adjourn. Scott second. All present in favor.
