Evergreen Township Minutes October 8th, 2018
The Evergreen Township Board met October 8th for their regular meeting at Todd & Rana Holmer’s home. Present were: Betty Janke, Rana & Todd Holmer, Scott Ulschmid. Steve Wilkowski Jr was absent.
Todd called the meeting to order. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved as read.
Betty read her treasurer’s report of money paid out, money received, money on hand in savings and checking. Balance on hand is $64,875.49. Scott made a motion to approve the treasurer’s report. Second by Todd. All present in favor.
Todd made a motion to pay bills. Second by Scott. All present in favor. Bills presented for payment are as follows: Lake Region Electric $32.79 for electric at town hall, Dan Oelfke $3060.00 for 34 hours of road blading, LM Road Services for Fall ditch clipping $602.00 and Rana Holmer $825 for 300 gophers. Todd motion to transfer $4,500.00 second by Scott. All present in favor.
There is a Becker County Township Assn meeting at the Courthouse on October 24th at 7pm. Scott might go, but Todd, Rana and Betty were not going to attend. We also received an email from owner on the west end of 110th st thanking for the gravel, but asking about when it would be bladed. Todd called Dan and he was out blading when Todd called.
Todd will check with Dwight regarding snowplowing this year to make sure he will still be doing it.
Rana, Betty and Julie will all be election judges on November 6th. Julie will be doing Evergreen’s and Rana and Betty will be swapped to another mail in ballot township and that township’s judges will be helping Julie with Evergreen’s. This is due to Todd and Betty being on the ballot.
Having no further business, Todd made a motion to adjourn. All present in favor.
