Evergreen Township Minutes January 12, 2026
The Evergreen Township Board met January 12th for their regular meeting at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Present were: Betty Janke, Rana & Todd Holmer, Brett Jepson & Scott Ulschmid.
Todd called the meeting to order. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved as read.
Betty read her treasurer’s report of money paid out, money received, money on hand in savings and checking. Balance on hand is $246,501.42. Todd made a motion to approve the treasurer’s report. Second by Scott. All present in favor.
Todd made a motion to pay bills. Second by Scott. All present in favor. Bills presented for payment are as follows: Rana Holmer $710.91 for reimbursement of website domain annual fees & new computer, IRS for 944 $333.50, St Paul’s Lutheran Church $1,200 for rent for 2026 & Dan Oelfke $1,897.50 for snow plowing, Rana Holmer $2196.00 for 732 gophers caught in 2025. Todd motion to transfer $500 to pay bills, second by Scott.
March meeting is March 9 and Annual meeting is March 10. Todd motion to do both meetings on March 10 at 7pm for Annual meeting followed by regular March meeting. Second by Scott.
Todd received a noise complaint call from Kenny Rader. Levi Miller running a sawmill without a muffler. Todd talked to Levi about it and usually he runs with a muffler, but sometimes they fall off.
We should all start thinking about the levies and if you think anything needs to be raised or if we can leave it the same. Next month we also will review the claims and checkbook.
Having no further business, Todd made a motion to adjourn. Scott second. All present in favor.
