Todd has done 2 weed inspections. The first inspection led to 3 notices. One of those was to the township for leafy spurge in ditch on 440th near hwy 87. Todd got spray from the county and sprayed it already. The 2nd inspection led to 5 notices all for thistles.
Todd also talked to Dan Oelfke and he said Grant Graham may be looking into opening a gravel pit. Todd contacted Grant to say our township may be interested if he does.
Kyle King also called Todd today for an overweight permit. He has an excavator coming into do a septic. Supervisors didn’t think it would be over the limit, but approved one for him anyway.
Todd also noted that Merle has started with gravel on 450th and was almost up to 140th already. Supervisor’s updated a map for the next places we would like gravelled this year: 460th from 87 to county rd 151(2000 yds), 150th st by Marjamaa’s (36 yds), 150th st from Richard Quittschreiber’s to Ryan Ostermann’s (500 yds), 120th st from county hwy 39 to 430th ave (600 yds), 110th st by Jim Schultz’s (250yds).
Steve still didn’t make contact with Arlen. Scott will try to catch him at church. Steve suggested we contact the post office regarding the placement of Sorenson’s mailbox on 120th st. Todd will do that.
Having no further business, Steve made a motion to adjourn. All present in favor.
Respectfully submitted, Rana Holmer, Clerk
