Evergreen Township Minutes February 8th, 2021
The Evergreen Township Board met February 8th for their regular meeting at Todd & Rana’s home. Present were: Betty Janke, Rana & Todd Holmer, Scott Ulschmid. Steve Wilkowski Jr was absent.
Todd called the meeting to order. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved as read.
Betty read her treasurer’s report of money paid out, money received, money on hand in savings and checking. Balance on hand is $141,189.34. Todd made a motion to approve the treasurer’s report. Second by Scott. All present in favor.
Todd made a motion to pay bills. Second by Scott. All present in favor. Bills presented for payment are as follows: Lake Region Electric $35.83 for electric at town hall, Dennis Drewes Inc $918 for 8.5 hours of snow plowing, Minnesota Benefit Association $805.00 for board life insurance. No transfer of funds required. Still enough in checking from Becker County deposits. All present in favor.
Annual Review of the books. One claim was a duplicate for an IRS bill, but only 1 check was issued. Otherwise everything else matched.
Todd mentioned Ron Kaiser from Arvig called again this year. He wanted to verify that they could do fiber optics in our ditches. Sounded like they had finally received some funding to do this project.
Rans informed we received our annual statement for the Frazee Fire Department annual contract and capital improvement funds. The actual fire contract was down $194.73 , but the capital improvements went up $2235.24, so overall our bill went up $2040.51 for 2021. We also received information from Cro’s Custom ditch clipping and spraying for his 2021 prices. We haven’t heard from LM Road Services yet to see if they will still do ours in 2021.
Having no further business, Todd made a motion to adjourn. All present in favor.
