Rana reminded that candidate filing begins July 14- 28. Scott & Betty are both up for election.

Todd informed that Menahga Concrete put gravel on 120th st east of Cty Rd 41 as Alajoki couldn’t get to it right away. On 6/30 LM Road Services sprayed weeds & brush in our ditches. Leo said we are one of the few lucky townships that have almost all the noxious weeds. Todd & Rana did 1st weed tour and sent 19 notices for Common Tansy, Thistle, Wormwood, Hoary Allyssum, Spotted Knapweed. Noted that Bill Lindow put up a NO SPRAY sign in ditch on 440th south of 87 due to a Lady Slipper in the ditch there. Todd said Brett called him about the beaver on Red Eye River and at this point not to concerned as they aren’t in the culvert and it isn’t affecting the road. The culvert for Collette Creek on 120th st is plugged with a bog or beaver dam. Grant Graham cleaned it out on 7/9 and on 7/12 it is plugged again. Asked Jeff to come over and see if he should set some beaver traps. On 7/4 met with a landowner to identify their Tansy and give them spray & sprayed more Wild Parsnip in ditch of 440th Ave. Talked to Grant about some of our road signs and he said to keep track and he will fix this fall. Jed Sazama chlorided 120th st in front of his house. Gerald Wanderi from Corliss called to check on ditch clipping 100th st. Talked to Leo from LM Road Services and he said it should be done by 7/22. We are last on their list, so patience is needed. On 7/12 did 2nd weed tour and sent 4 new notices and sent 4 to the county and also text a few people.

All present in favor.

Respectfully submitted, Rana Holmer, Clerk
